Ingredients
Scale
The key to these bombs lies in selecting fresh, high-quality ingredients. Growing up, I learned that the right ingredients can elevate any dish, and this one is no exception.
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small dinner rolls or slider buns
If you’re looking to switch things up, you can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef. For a kick, add a dash of cayenne pepper or swap cheddar for pepper jack cheese.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions. Flatten each portion, place some shredded cheese in the center, and fold the beef around the cheese to form a ball.
- Wrap each beef ball with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick.
- Place the bombs on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving on small buns.
