Cheeseburger Lasagna with Garlic and Parmesan: A Fusion Feast to Savor

Learn how to make delicious Cheeseburger Lasagna with Garlic And Parmesan. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

If you’re missing any of these ingredients, don’t worry! You can substitute ground turkey for beef, or use a store-bought garlic sauce to save time. The beauty of home cooking is making it work with what you have on hand.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent, approximately 3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes to meld the flavors.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the lasagna noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce. Layer three lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  7. Top the noodles with a third of the meat sauce, followed by a third of the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Repeat the layers two more times, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
  9. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let the lasagna cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

My tip: If you’re in a rush, assemble the lasagna ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator. Just pop it in the oven when you’re ready, and dinner is served!
