- 1 pound ground pork (or substitute with ground turkey or chicken)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 head green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional, for heat)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground pork and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add the onion, garlic, and ginger, sautéing until the onion is translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced cabbage and shredded carrots, cooking until the cabbage is wilted, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha, stirring to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
