Ingredients
Scale
Gathering your ingredients is half the battle won, and I promise you won’t need anything you can’t pronounce! Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
If you’re like my mom and love to improvise, feel free to swap the cheddar for mozzarella or add diced jalapeños for a spicy kick!
Instructions
Let’s dive into making these delightful bites. Here’s how you can bring them to life in your kitchen:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain any excess fat and let it cool slightly.
- Transfer the beef to a bowl and mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
- Separate biscuit dough into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly and place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center. Gather the edges of the dough around the filling and pinch to seal, forming a ball.
- Place the balls seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, and parsley. Brush this mixture generously over each dough ball.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. I find it’s the perfect time to set the table and call the kids in for dinner.
These cheeseburger bombs are easy to make, and their golden, crispy exterior always brings a smile to my face. It’s like a warm hug on a plate!
