Ingredients
Scale
The key to this dish lies in selecting the right ingredients, just like how my mom could transform simple pantry staples into culinary magic. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 pound salmon fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish
If you’re out of sriracha, a mix of hot sauce and a pinch of sugar can work in a pinch. And while fresh lime juice is best, bottled can do the trick too!
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, lime juice, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Place salmon pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Brush the honey-sriracha mixture generously over each piece of salmon.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
