Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
If hot honey isn’t readily available, you can easily make your own by combining honey with a pinch of chili flakes or hot sauce to taste.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, mix together the hot honey, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and brush them generously with the honey mixture, ensuring they’re well coated.
- Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- During the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle the crumbled feta over the chicken and return to the oven until the cheese is slightly melted and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
Remember, cooking is about making the dish your own. If you like a bit more heat, feel free to add an extra drizzle of hot honey before serving.
