Instructions
Ready to dive in? This is where the magic happens! The kids love to help with this one, especially when it comes to rolling. Here’s how you can make these rolls in no time:
- Start by softening your cream cheese. If you forgot to take it out of the fridge, no worries! Just microwave it for about 15-20 seconds until it’s spreadable.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
- Lay out a slice of ham on a clean surface. You could even use a cutting board if you want to keep things tidy.
- Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture over the ham slice, making sure to cover it well.
- Next, place a pickle at one end of the ham slice and roll it up tightly. You want to make sure the pickle is snugly wrapped up in that delicious cream cheese and ham.
- Once rolled, slice the roll into bite-sized pieces. I usually aim for about 1-2 inches long. Place them on a serving platter.
- Repeat the process for the remaining ingredients until you have a beautiful plate of Lazy Cream Cheese Pickle Rolls.
- For a little extra flair, sprinkle some sliced green onions on top before serving. Trust me, it adds a lovely pop of color!
