Ingredients
Scale
The key to this dish lies in selecting the right ingredients, ensuring each component complements the others while bringing its own unique flavor to the table.
- 1 package of frozen potstickers (about 24 pieces)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup sugar snap peas
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced
Feel free to substitute the veggies with what you have on hand. Broccoli or zucchini would work beautifully here too.
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the potstickers in a single layer and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour 1/4 cup of water into the skillet, cover, and steam the potstickers until the water evaporates and they are fully cooked, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil. Toss in the red pepper, sugar snap peas, and onion, cooking until tender-crisp, about 4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Return the potstickers to the skillet and add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
