- 1 teaspoon black pepper

- Preheat your smoker to 250°F. If you’re using an oven, preheat to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Wrap each piece of sausage with half a slice of bacon, forming a small cup or “shot glass.” Secure with a toothpick.
- Spoon the cheese mixture into the bacon-wrapped sausage cups, filling them generously.
- Place the assembled pig shots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Smoke the pig shots for about 1 hour, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese filling is bubbly. If baking, cook for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove from the smoker or oven and let cool slightly before serving.
