Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound of beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 packs of Korean ramen noodles
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Sliced green onions for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Optional: Kimchi for serving
Instructions
- Start by marinating the beef slices. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, ginger, and garlic. Add the beef and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for deeper flavor.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef slices and cook until they are browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the beef broth and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the ramen noodles, and cook according to package instructions until they are tender.
- Reduce the heat to low, and stir in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss until everything is well-coated in the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds. Add a side of kimchi if you like an extra tangy kick.
