  • 1 pound of beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 packs of Korean ramen noodles
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Sliced green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Optional: Kimchi for serving

Instructions

  1. Start by marinating the beef slices. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, ginger, and garlic. Add the beef and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for deeper flavor.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef slices and cook until they are browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the beef broth and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the ramen noodles, and cook according to package instructions until they are tender.
  4. Reduce the heat to low, and stir in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss until everything is well-coated in the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds. Add a side of kimchi if you like an extra tangy kick.
