- 20 jumbo pasta shells
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo shells according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the ricotta, chopped spinach, egg, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Stuff each shell with a generous spoonful of the ricotta and spinach mixture, then place them in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with extra mozzarella if desired.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
