Ingredients
Scale
Here’s what you’ll need to whip up a dish that’s bound to become a family favorite:
- 1 pound of sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Sliced green onions for garnish
If you’re missing any of these, don’t fret. You can swap the sirloin for flank or skirt steak, and if you’re out of fresh ginger, a teaspoon of ground ginger will do in a pinch.
Instructions
Let’s get cooking! Follow these steps for a meal that’s sure to please.

- Stir in the soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Add the red pepper flakes if you like a bit of heat.
