Ingredients
Scale
- 12 slider buns
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great!)
- 8 slices of thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Feel free to substitute turkey for chicken if that’s what you have on hand, or use Monterey Jack cheese for a slightly different flavor profile. The beauty of home cooking is making it work with what you have!
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). While the oven heats, prepare a baking dish with non-stick spray.
- In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken with the ranch dressing, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Slice your slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
- Layer the ranch-coated chicken evenly over the buns. Next, sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the chicken.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese, spreading it evenly across the sliders.
- Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and dried parsley. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the buns.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy the delightful meld of flavors in each bite!
