Ingredients
Scale
- 12 slider buns
- 6 large eggs
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1/4 cup chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and cooked through. Break it into small pieces as it cooks. Once done, drain any excess fat and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture into a non-stick pan over medium heat. Stir gently until the eggs are just set and slightly fluffy. Remove from heat.
- Slice the slider buns in half, and place the bottom halves on the prepared baking sheet.
- Layer the scrambled eggs evenly over the bottom buns, followed by the cooked sausage, and then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese layer, pressing down gently.
- Melt the butter and brush the tops of the sliders, adding a sprinkle of green onions if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
