Ingredients
Scale
- 4 waffle cones, crushed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), fresh or frozen
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- Pinch of salt
If you’re out of fresh berries, frozen ones work just as well! And for those of you who prefer milk chocolate, feel free to swap it in for a milder flavor.
Instructions
- Start by melting the chocolate chips with the butter in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the melted chocolate until you achieve a luscious swirl.
- In another bowl, mix the berries with sugar and a pinch of salt. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to release their juices.
- Take your crushed waffle cones and divide them into four bowls. Layer the chocolate cream over the cones, followed by a generous spoonful of berries.
- Finish with an extra drizzle of the chocolate mixture if you’re feeling decadent. Serve immediately and watch the smiles unfold!
