Ingredients
Scale
Let’s keep it simple with ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
If you’re out of crescent roll dough, puff pastry is a great substitute. And feel free to swap cheddar for your favorite cheese—my mom would always say, “Cooking’s an art, not a science!”
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. This helps prevent sticking and makes cleanup a breeze—every busy mom’s dream!
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. This step always takes me back to watching my dad work his magic at the stove.
- Add the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese to the beef mixture. Stir until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined. You’ll know it’s ready when you can’t resist sneaking a taste!
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on the wide end of each triangle and roll it up towards the point.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and garlic. Brush this garlic butter over the rollups for an extra layer of flavor that ties everything together.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. The kitchen will fill with the most mouthwatering aroma—just like home.
