Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
If you’re out of cheddar, feel free to swap it with mozzarella or even pepper jack for a bit of a kick. The beauty of home cooking is in making it work with what you’ve got!
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle and roll up towards the tip.
- Place rollups on the prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush over the rollups.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving, if desired.
Pro tip: If you’re feeling adventurous, add a dollop of mustard or ketchup inside each roll for an extra layer of flavor that my kids absolutely love!
