- 2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
Let’s get cooking! Here’s how to bring these delightful shells to life:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with a touch of olive oil.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta shells until just al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and let them cool slightly.
- In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of Parmesan, mozzarella, egg, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly on the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
- Stuff each shell with the ricotta mixture and place them seam-side up in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional fresh basil if you like.
