Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or diced
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or canned)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Arrange the triangles in a circular pattern on the parchment paper, with the points facing outward, forming a sun-like shape.
- In a large bowl, mix together the turkey, cranberry sauce, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spoon the turkey mixture onto the wide ends of the dough triangles, making sure to distribute it evenly around the circle.
- Fold the pointed ends of the triangles over the filling, tucking them under the wide ends to form a ring.
- Brush the dough with the beaten egg to give it a golden, shiny finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the crescent ring is golden brown and cooked through.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
